Tasting notes
Medium to light gold-hued, the 2023 Château Picque Caillou Blanc offers exotic melon and subtle tropical fruits, honeyed flowers, and a kiss of chalky minerality. It's medium-bodied, bright, racy, and juicy, with a clean, balanced profile. All Sauvignon Blanc aged seven months on the lees in 30% new French oak, it will drink nicely over the coming decade. Drink 2026-2036.

Attractive and fresh, with green gooseberry, quince, subtle mineral and cream aromas. Bright and zesty, with a medium to full body and a lengthy finish. Drinkable now, but can hold for a few years.
A little austere, this is slim through the palate, majoring on green apple, white pear, saffron and sage, with apple blossom aromatics. A little short, but with charm, 20% new oak for ageing.
