Tasting notes
A blend of several clones from the family's four-acre Nicali Vineyard, Lindstrom's 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Stags Leap District features seductive aromas of black cherries, cola, loam, allspice and clove. In keeping with its Stags Leap District origins, it's medium to full-bodied, silky and elegant, with very fine-grained tannins and a long, elegant finish. In the context of current Napa Valley pricing, it has to be seen as an excellent value, although availability is likely to be limited.

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is a dark, sumptuous wine. Blackberry, gravel, crushed rocks, lavender, spice and dried herbs infuse the 2021 with tons of character. This rugged, rocky site produced an especially dense, tightly-coiled Cabernet Sauvignon in a vintage marked by severe drought.
