Score 92/100 · Drink 2005-2011, Robert Parker, Aug 2005
The impressive, deep ruby-colored, full-bodied, expansive 2003 Pinot Noir Rosella’s Vineyard exhibits wonderful notes of spice, dried herbs, and earth along with sweet, broad, ripe, concentrated black cherry, raspberry, and blueberry fruit. Fine acidity keeps the wine vibrant and alive, the wood is beautifully integrated, and the finish is long as well as substantial. It will drink well for 5-6 years. Tel. (831) 675-1681

Medium red. Smoky, warm and rather grenache-like in the mouth, with more sweetness of fruit and fat than the basic 2003 pinot bottling. Finishes with light tannins and some heat. This, too, needs more shape and definition.
