Score 92/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, May 2007
Good deep red. Wild, Burgundian nose features smoke, underbrush, wild herbs, licorice and truffle. Ripe, seamless and complex, with subtle red fruit flavor complicated by underbrush, earth and herbs. At once creamy and dry, finishing with fairly fine tannins, good lift and a suggestion of raspberry.
