The 2017 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru is showing very nicely, unwinding in the glass with aromas of pear, pastry cream, orange oil, frangipane and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied and elegantly textural, it's charming and delicate, with ripe but lively acids, chalky structuring extract and a tightly wound core. This should develop nicely with a bit of bottle age.
