2022 Pinot Noir Docs Ranch Vineyard

The 2022 Pinot Noir Doc's Ranch Vineyard is a jeweled ruby color and comes from estate-grown fruit. With more angular Nebbiolo-like structure, it reveals spicy notes of orange peel, clove, cranberries, and darker forest earth. Medium-bodied, with well-defined, angular tannins, refreshing acidity, and a more iron-rich, sanguine feel through the finish, allow some time with this one and drink over the following 15 or so years. The 2022s from Ross Cobb are some of the best wines from the vintage, especially those that are sourced from his estate vineyard holdings.
