Tasting notes
Coming from the Soberanes, Garys’ and Pisoni vineyards, the 2012 Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands has an un-2012 level of concentration and richness, yet it stays seamless and elegant on the palate. Possessing a ripe bouquet of blackberry, toasted spice, ground herbs and tinges of minerality, it’s an impressive Pinot Noir that will have upward of a decade of longevity.

A gorgeous appellation-level Pinot, the 2012 Pinot Noir is laced with dark red stone fruit, plum, cherry, spice and new leather. This fleshy, impeccably balanced Pinot delivers outstanding quality, not to mention considerable near and medium-term appeal. Sweet rose petal and cinnamon notes linger on the perfumed finish. What a gorgeous wine this is. The 2012 was made entirely from estate fruit.
