2024 Redoma Branco

The 2024 Redoma Branco is already sold out; even though it's a fairly large production, the demand is very high, especially in Portugal, so it's a wine that sells out very quickly. Half of the wine leaves the winery as soon as it's bottled. 2024 is quite similar to 2023, perhaps with easier fermentations—more nitrogen available for the wines, more nutrients—all indigenous, and the wine is more relaxed, perhaps a little rounder. Maybe the word for the 2024 whites is "pretty." It's always aged in very well-seasoned, 228- and 500-liter barrels, so there is a spicy and smoky hint, with a core of dry flowers and herbs, a little Burgundian if you like. It's very tasty. 66,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2025.
