Tasting notes
The 2021 Brut Reserva Rosé is also solid. Based on 60% Monastrell, 20% Garnatxa, and 20% Pinot Noir, it has a light salmon hue as well as a terrific perfume of savory raspberry and tart strawberries. It's nicely balanced and has a classy, supple mouthfeel and bright acidity that carries through the palate and finish.

The 2021 Rosé Brut Reserva was produced with a blend of 60% Monastrell and 20% each Garnacha and Pinot Noir. It has 11.5% alcohol and a pH of 2.95 that is balanced by seven grams of sugar from the dosage. It was disgorged after some 18 months and is a young and fruit-driven wine. It has a bright pink color, a mellow palate with integrated acidity, concentration from a low-yielding year and a sweet twist in the finish. 200,000 bottles produced.
A sparkling wine based on Monastrell is an oddity, but the 2021 Rosé from Llopart showcases it beautifully. This blend of 60% Monastrell, 20% Garnacha and 20% Pinot Noir, from Subirats, Penedès, is bright cherry-red in hue. The floral, perfumed nose features cherry and herbal notes. Indulgent and chalky, it delivers a savory palate that finishes with a lasting note of waffle.
Pale salmon-colored sparkling with aromas of cherry stones, pomegranates, cranberries and custard. Creamy and soft with gentle bubbles and a rounded, fruity finish. From organically grown grapes. Vegan. Drink now.
