The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Le Roi Soleil comes from the Stagecoach Vineyard in the southern part of Napa Valley and spent 20 months in 80% new French oak. It’s a beautiful, almost old-school styled beauty that has lots of blackberry and cassis fruits, abundant graphite, tobacco, and lead pencil nuances, medium to full body, and ripe tannin. This Bordeaux look-alike is going to benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age and drink beautifully for a decade or more.

Even with all of its fruit intensity and overall ripeness, the 2015 conveys the natural power that is so typical of Stagecoach.
From Stagecoach Vineyards, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Le Roi Soleil is deep garnet-purple colored with a crème de cassis, sautéed herbs and earth nose with a waft of cardamom. Full-bodied with firm, grainy tannins, it's lively and youthful with good black fruit expression, finishing long.
