Deep, saturated ruby. Wild, Cote-Rotie-like aromas of blackberry, truffle, game, molasses and woodsmoke. Then dense and supple but juicy and penetrating, with intense raspberry and woodsmoke flavors. Finishes firmly tannic but ripe and suave. The gamey, wild quality carries through to the end.
