Tasting notes
Deep, shimmering ruby. Highly perfumed cherry, black raspberry, candied rose and baking spice aromas are complemented by vanilla and woodsmoke flourishes. Appealingly sweet and precise on the palate, offering energetic red and blue fruit, cola, floral pastille and spicecake flavors that deepen as the wine opens up. Shows superb clarity and spicy thrust on the strikingly long, energetic finish, which features repeating spice and floral notes and polished tannins. 40% new French oak.

A blend of 30% Graciano, 29% Mourvèdre and 26% Syrah, the 2019 Lapsus offers perfumed wild berry fruits with notes of aniseed, dried flowers and garrigue. The full-bodied palate has extraordinary freshness and an array of spicy accents, with a very long and mineral-laced finish. It's an elegant blend that will benefit from another 2-3 years in bottle.
The deep purple-hued 2019 Lapsus offers notes of leather, peppery herbs, savory earth, and violets as well as red and some blue fruits. Medium to full-bodied, with juicy acidity, the texture is spot on. Long and elegant, this is a very clean, pure, and polished red.
