Tasting notes
Even deeper, richer and more profound is the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Sympa This wine has a dense purple color, a beautiful nose of white flowers, blue and black fruits and charcoal embers followed by a full-bodied, layered mouthfeel with terrific purity, sweet finely grained tannins, low acidity, plenty of glycerin and punch. The complexity is already starting to push through with secondary nuances. This compelling effort can be drunk now or cellared for another 20 years.

97% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot. Perfumed, floral aromatics. Structural focused palate with persistence. Rather tannins driven currently. Needs time in bottle to open and reveal more. Moderate, acidity. Notes of cocoa. Hints of purple fruit peeking through. Though there are plenty of tannins the finish drops off in a way that makes the actual ageing potential unclear. (ECB)
