Blueish purple. Fragrant. Lots of sweet fruit initially but just a little raw. Masses of acidity. (JR)

Straightforward, pretty and made from a blend similar to the 2010's, the 2008 is a leaner, somewhat clipped, lighter-styled wine displaying notes of damp earth, underbrush and red and black currants. Consume it over the next 5-6 years.

Lovely fresh nose, beautiful balance. A bit of energy but no great concentration. (JR)
