(for 500 ml.) Medium red. Sweet cherry, tobacco and nutty oak, all lifted by a floral topnote: this smells like sangiovese! Then sweet and supple but juicy, with lovely minty lift to the red fruit and tobacco flavors. Finishes firmly tannic and quite long. Highly successful California sangiovese.
