Tasting notes
The 2014 Pinot Noir Obelin is not made every vintage—2017 will be the first vintage since this 2014. It's an absolutely stunning wine, with a medium ruby color and scents of raspberry, rhubarb and strawberry with touches of autumn leaves, bacon fat, laurel, lilac and blood orange peel. Medium-bodied, it gives up layer after layer of nuanced red berry flavor layers, framed by soft, grainy tannins and mouthwatering acidity that just begs you to take another sip, finishing very long and ethereal with that perfect Pinot Noir savory sweetness.

Brilliant red. Explosive red and blue fruit liqueur, Asian spice, lavender candy and vanilla aromas, lent vivacity by a smoky mineral nuance. Sappy, sweet and expansive on the palate, offering intense raspberry, boysenberry and floral pastille flavors and hints of five-spice powder and white pepper that add spicy lift. Smooth and seamless in texture, showing silky, harmonious tannins and superb, floral-dominated persistence.
