Score 93/100 · Drink 2024-2032, Jeb Dunnuck, Aug 2024

The 2022 WCS Jack John checks in as 75% Grenache and 25% Nero d’Avola from the Riboli and Jada vineyards and saw 16 months in neutral barrels. This deep ruby/plum-hued red boasts a terrific nose of red and black fruits, peppery herbs, leather, and loamy earth. It’s medium to full-bodied, has a nicely textured, balanced mouthfeel, savory tannins, and outstanding length. Drink bottles through 2032.
