Opaque ruby. High-toned red fruit preserve and floral scents are complicated by suggestions of allspice and smoked meat. Round and appealingly sweet in the mouth, offering juicy raspberry and cola flavors and a hint of orange zest. Deep, spicy, expansive Grenache with strong finishing thrust and supple framing tannins.

Aged 17 months in neutral barrels, the 2012 Grenache exhibits pretty notes of camphor, kirsch, dried cherries and balsam to go with a full-bodied, supple, sexy and forward style on the palate that's about as easy drinking as they come. Drink this total charmer over the coming 5-7 years.
