Last Tasted 3/92 An exotic, pruny, coffee, chocolatey, earthy, and berry-scented nose makes for a controversial first impression. Although the 1964 is deeply colored, there is some amber at the edge. In the mouth, the alcohol is beginning to show through, and there is a stemmy, pruny character to the wine's flavor. Although it appears to be living on the edge, this wine still provides considerable pleasure, but it should be drunk up.
