Tasting notes
A medium-bodied wine with redcurrants, cherries and hints of flowers. Fine tannins. Pointed and pretty. Succulent finish. So delicious and poised. 67% cabernet franc, 18% merlot, and 9% cabernet franc. Attractive now, but will age beautifully.

Williams’ take on a St. Emilion from Napa, the 2019 Right Bank Blend Red wine checks in 73% Cabernet Franc, 18% Merlot, and 9% Cabernet Sauvignon, all from the Lewelling and Stagecoach Vineyards. It spent 22 months in 55% new barrels. Smoked red and black fruits, chocolate, exotic flowers, and graphite are just some of nuances here, and it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, ultra-fine, silky tannins, perfectly balance, and a great finish. It’s well worth seeking out and another awesome Cabernet Franc from the Valley.
The 2019 Right Bank Blend is composed of 73% Cabernet Franc, 18% Merlot and 9% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep garnet-purple in color, it leaps with vibrant Morello cherries, mulberries and plum preserves notes, followed by wafts of fragrant earth and menthol. The full-bodied palate is jam-packed with red and black fruit preserves, framed by firm tannins and a lively line, finishing on a lingering cinnamon note.
