Moderately saturated ruby-red. Superripe aromas of black fruits and baking chocolate; roasted but not over the top. The sweetest of Chris Camarda's '98 cabernets, but with the blackberry and dark chocolate flavors kept fresh by lovely balancing acidity. Impressively light on its feet for such a rich wine. Finishes very long, with remarkably supple, buffered tannins for a wine from this vineyard.
