2019 Hell's Gate

An extended barrel aged release of the Diplomat, the 2019 Hell's Gate is the same 60/40 Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blend that spent 46 months in new barrels. It's a slightly richer effort with rocking black cherry, chocolate, baking spice, and some meaty, iron-like notes that all shine, and it's medium to full-bodied, with a broad, layered mouthfeel and a great finish. It has remarkable purity, freshness, and balance.
