Bright, fleshy, heady aromas burst from the well-made 2020 Blewitt Springs: musky plum, new leather, roasted spices, and well-integrated oak. The superb vitality of mouth-filling fruit follows. It's plush in shape, concentrated and underscored by fresh acidity and grainy tannins. Lots to like and enjoy over the medium term.

Extremely perfumed with flowers and red fruits. The palate is tight and compacted with fine tannins that are integrated and long, giving structured and vertical depth to this young wine. Give it time to soften and open. Drinkable but better after 2024.
The 2020 Blewitt Springs Grenache is perfumed, spicy, attractive... incredible. It’s long and plush, but the skeleton of tannins shows the longevity and precision of the style. There are notes of clove bud, raspberry pip, licorice, silty tannin and loads of exotic spice. And very fine saline acidity. I don’t talk much about acidity in these wines, but it pulses through the fruit and tannic framework… there’s blood and rose petals. I love this mightily.
