The 2018 Ineo is also brilliant juice, and up with the finest vintages I’ve tasted. Tobacco, truffle, iron, chocolate, and earthy nuances all dominate this Saint-Emilion like effort, which has a full-bodied, expansive mouthfeel, sweet tannins, and a great, great finish. This is brilliant any way you look at it, and while incredible today, I have no doubt this will evolve for 20 years or more. Count yourself lucky if you’re able to get some of this.

The 2018 Ineo is another seriously impressive wine in this range. A powerful, ample wine, the 2018 offers up generous blackberry jam, mocha, licorice, sweet new oak, leather and spice. Broad swaths of tannin wrap it all together in style. As always, Ineo features quite a bit of Cabernet Franc. The 2018 needs time in bottle for all of the elements to fully come together, especially the oak, which is a bit prominent today. The 2018 has been impressive in two recent tastings. There is quite a bit to look forward to.
