Tasting notes
A bright, juicy, classic Saint-Emilion with loads to love, the 2019 Château Faurie De Souchard sports a deep plum color to go with a great nose of black raspberries, mulberries, plums, spice box, dried flowers, and subtle oak. This all carries to a beautiful, medium to full-bodied, elegant wine revealing good density and length, building yet polished tannins, and a great finish. It's going to need 4-5 years of bottle age and have two decades of longevity.

The 2019 Faurie de Souchard has turned out nicely, offering up aromas of cassis, cherries and sweet berries, followed by a medium to full-bodied, lively wine with good concentration and powdery tannins that assert themselves on the youthfully chewy finish. This is a fine effort that will reward a bit of bottle age.
The 2019 Faurie de Souchard offers lifted red cherry and raspberry fruit on the airy nose; light menthol notes develop with time. The palate is medium-bodied with quite firm tannins, not complex but balanced, with a touch of soy on the finish.
