Cask sample. Light to mid crimson. Ripe, tangy, dark-red fruit. Really sweet on the palate – both fruit and oak sweetness. So much so that is seems to lack some freshness. It certainly has depth and is already so smooth. Just a little chewy on the finish. A bit obvious? (JH)
