Score 91/100 · Drink 2004-2020, Robert Parker, Jun 2002
This brilliant, tightly-knit but promising Cabernet Sauvignon boasts a saturated ruby/purple color, nicely integrated, toasty French oak, and sweet cassis, licorice, and graphite notes. It is full-bodied yet elegant, with tremendous length as well as seamlessly assimilated tannin and acidity. This superb 1997 will be at its peak between 2004-2020. Bravo! Tel. (707) 963-5221

Extremely rich and full on the nose with some tough tannins. Nice try and not too sweet. (JR)
