Tasting notes
The 2007 Barolo Preda comes across as a bit clenched. My impression is that the fruit will continue to fade, exposing the tannins further with the passage of time. Sweet spices and menthol add complexity to the dried cherry fruit. This needs to be drunk sooner rather than later.

These are the finest wines I have tasted from Cascina Adelaide. Importer: Tesori Wines, San Francisco, CA; tel. (310) 455-9463
Barolo. Concentrated ruby with small orange rim. Sweet, ripe and with hints of incence and hinting at tar. Seems very early for these tertiary notes. Evolved, sweet fruit and very sweet vanilla finish. Rash evolution and overripe. Heavy-handed oak? (WS)
