Bright ruby. Intense aromas of dark berries, peppery spices and lavender acquire a mineral element in the glass. Juicy and sharply focused, showing excellent focus and lift to the energetic red and blue fruit and floral pastille flavors. Clings with strong persistence on the youthfully fruity finish, which features silky tannins and an echo of candied flowers.

Smells fresher and more pure-fruited than the Côte de Py 2014. Lifted, scented with pepper and mineral notes. Lovely dry finesse. Delicate and silky on the palate, fluid and fresh – frictionless elegance. (JH)
