Coming from this terraced vineyard and pouring a ripe red hue, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Bear Point is lifted with notes of cassis, menthol, leather, and cedar. Wonderful fresh energy propels it through the palate, with bright red fruit, ripe tannins, and a long finish. It is very nicely styled and has the longevity to drink well over the next 15 or more years. Stonestreet Estate focuses on the high elevation vineyards in the Alexander Valley. The estate is part of the Jackson Family, having been founded in 1995 by Barbara Banke and Jess Stonestreet Jackson. Today, winemaker Kristina Shideler leads the production, having re-joined the team after taking her first lead winemaker roll at Arrowood Winery in 2015.
