(13% alcohol, with a relatively low 3.44 pH): Good medium red. Inviting, mature aromas of strawberry, tea leaf, brown spices and mushroom. Silky and fine-grained; still fresh and energetic owing to its firm spine of acidity. Not a fleshy or broad-shouldered style but tight and elegant. Offers an attractive acid/tannin balance and finishes with good savory persistence.
