The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Twins Vineyard is a winner. Ripe currants and blueberry fruits as well as lots of salty, marine-like notes, iodine, and tobacco give way to a full-bodied, beautifully pure, elegant Cabernet that has great tannins and a big finish. Drink it over the coming 20 years or more.

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Twins Vineyard from Stone the Crows has a lot going on. Graphite, floral and dried herb overtones give the 2017 a distinctly savory character that is beguiling. In the glass, the 2017 is powerful, with notable fruit depth and equally stout tannins. Time in the glass brings out the floral notes and red berry fruit that are such signatures of this wine. The 2017 needs time to settle, but it is very promising.
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon gives notes of prunes, baked black currants and blueberry compote with chargrill and wild sage. The palate is medium to full-bodied, firm and chewy with just enough fruit and a firm, somewhat rustic finish.
