Tasting notes
Notes of purple fruit, eucalyptus and cocoa with rocky minerality and an iron patina. Palate-cleansing tannins and balancing acidity carry into a long finish. (ECB)

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville has supple tannins, nice beautiful blackcurrant fruit, an impressive integration of oak and a heady finish. This is always a medium to full-bodied, stylish, elegant wine and certainly meets those criteria in 2013. Drink it over the next 10-15 years.
A dark, sumptuous beauty, Oakville Ranch's 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon (Oakville) captures the pedigree of the year as well as the personality of this site on the eastern hills of Oakville. Dark cherry, mocha, spice, licorice and savory herbs blossom in this beautifully textured, super-expressive Cabernet Sauvignon.
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is a big step up from the 2012. Layered and beautifully expressive in the glass, the 2013 stands out for its exceptional balance and pure resonance. Plums, black cherries, menthol, cloves and licorice blossom as the wine shows off the pedigree and character of this Oakville site. Hints of violet, mint and orange peel add nuance on the super-expressive finish.
