Score 89/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Deep red. Mellow aromas of blackberry, plum, cinnamon, underbrush and earth; less vibrant than the Allen. Fat and rich on the palate, though today the oak is more apparent than the wine's fruit. Finishes with dusty (oak-enhanced) tannins and very good length.
