(90% new oak): Bright purple. Textbook syrah aromas of black and blue fruits, olive tapenade, smoked meat and violet, with a peppery topnote adding vibrancy. Sweet vanillin oak spices build with air and carry onto the palate, which offers intense blueberry and floral pastille flavors and a hint of bitter chocolate. At once rich and lively, finishing with strong punch and smooth, well-knit tannins.

About the producer

Martinelli
Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
