A step up, the 2022 Sauvignon Blanc Dollarhide Estate Vineyard offers more complexity as well as depth. Ripe citrus, exotic tangerine, and lemon notes give way to a medium-bodied, vibrant white that s nicely balanced and lengthy on the palate. It s perfect for drinking over the coming 3-4 years. There s certainly no need to hold off.

Hints of pencil shavings and crushed stone appear on the nose of the 2022 Sauvignon Blanc Dollarhide Estate, 16% of which was barrel-fermented in new French oak (the balance was made in stainless steel). Joined by fig and melon notes, this is a plump, medium-bodied effort, nicely rounded on the mid-palate, while retaining a sense of grapefruity freshness on the finish.
