Score 89+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Saturated red-ruby. Slightly reduced, meaty aromas of dark fruits, sassafras, flowers, mint and spices. Tight and high-pitched but with very good underlying sweetness; extremely young and a bit reduced. Finishes juicy and aromatic, with firm, slightly tough tannins. Needs a good three or four years of bottle aging.
