Score 89/100 · Drink 2017-2024, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, Jun 2017

Coming from one of the best vineyards in the state, the 2014 Ciel du Cheval Vineyard is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Its vibrant ruby/purple color is followed by notes of black raspberries, crushed flowers, vanilla and licorice. Medium-bodied, supple and polished on the palate, with a streamlined feel, it should continue drinking beautifully through 2024.
