Tasting notes
Bright ruby-red. Laid-back aromas of plum, spicecake, licorice and chocolate. Silky and energetic, with a restrained sweetness to the flavors of plum, currant, spices and fresh herbs. A lush and attractive 2007 that finishes with suave tannins and good persistence. And not at all overdone. This wine held up very well in the recorked bottle.

This tasty Fronsac offers attractive raspberry and black cherry fruit intermixed with hints of herbs and spice box. Elegant, medium-bodied, and soft, it is ideal for drinking over the next 5-7 years.
Bright ruby-red. Perfumed aromas of black cherry and flowers, with liqueur-like high tones adding to its appeal. Supple and easygoing, with good breadth to the cherry and smoky oak flavors. A bit youthfully subdued but quite pliant in texture.
Strong capsicum aromas with some sweet cassis and mocha. Chewy and quite dense. Riper on the palate than predicted by the nose but a bit hard at the very end. (JH)
