Tasting notes
Fermented in stainless steel. RS 6.8 g/l. 1,199 cases made. Smells of Asian pear, beeswax and a touch of white flowers. Flavours of beeswax, roasted nuts, orange peel and citrus oils have a bright zip thanks to excellent acidity. There’s an underlying faint stony quality here and a light grip in the finish. Comes across as much younger than I would expect after a decade. (AY)

Excellent mature Riesling notes with lemon meringue, a touch of basil, lime juice and slatiness. It's too full and low in acid to be German, but otherwise it does a very good impression of the style. Medium body, medium length – not a wine for keeping, but for relishing now in all its satisfying varietal glory. (RH)
Lots of classic lychee, lime, and white grapefruit notes emerge from the 2016 Riesling, which is medium-bodied and has a kiss of sweetness, balancing acidity, and a great finish. This beautiful, outstanding Riesling is going to age nicely for at least a decade.
