Tight, restrained nose. Tart cranberry fruit with gentle structure, soft and easygoing to drink. Finishes with a sappy herbal note. (RH)

The 2013 Pinot Noir Estate San Andreas Fault is another pretty, expressive wine that reflects the mid-weight style of the year. There is a lovely sense of purity on the fruit, yet the 2013 remains tightly wound and in need of time to fully open up. Hints of crushed flowers, dried cherries, mint and spices are nicely layered throughout.
