Tasting notes
A kitchen sink blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and Zinfandel sourced from multiple regions in California, the 2015 Vicarious Red Wine sports a ruby/purple color as well as a fruit forward nose of black plums, blackberries, ground herbs, and violets. It has terrific depth of fruit on the palate, medium to full-bodied richness, and sweet tannins, as well as the upfront, sexy, charming style of the 2015 vintage front and center. Drink this pleasure bent yet balanced and classy red over the coming 10-12 years.

The 2015 Proprietary Red Vicarious is blended of 31% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Cabernet Franc, 30% Syrah and 12% Zinfandel from Napa, Santa Lucia Highlands and Dry Creek. It was aged in 65% new French oak for 22 months. Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, it's very floral and spicy on the nose with red and black fruit preserves and a waft of dusty earth. The palate is medium to full-bodied, spicy and perfumed with rounded tannins and great freshness, finishing long. 325 cases produced.
