Score 92/100 · Drink 2024-2034, Jeb Dunnuck, Jul 2024
The more Merlot-dominated 2021 Long Haul is upfront and loaded with ripe darker cherry fruits as well as notes of candied violets and tobacco leaf. It's plump, round, and medium to full-bodied, with a deliciously drinkable style. It should last for a decade. The blend is 72% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 1% Petit Verdot.

A collection of sweet spices, dusty dried florals and crushed blueberries introduces the 2021 Long Haul. This is round and sleek, with tart wild berry fruits offset by zesty acidity and a mineral tinge. It finishes long and fresh, leaving the mouth watering. A flourish of violet pastille lingers on.
