Score 92/100 · Drink 2019-2029, Jeb Dunnuck, Jun 2019
A step up, the 2017 Pinot Noir Bjornson Vineyard offers complex notes of spiced cherries, herbes de Provence, and some gamey, forest floor notes to go with a medium-bodied, silky, beautifully textured style on the palate. With a terrific Burgundian vibe, rock-solid balance, and a great finish, drink this outstanding Oregon Pinot Noir over the coming decade or more.

The 2017 Pinot Noir Bjornson Vineyard is attractive at the outset, but also a bit perplexing. Sweet red berry, pomegranate, blood orange, game and chalk struggle to emerge in a wine that remains a bit compact and narrow in feel.
