2013 Emilio Rojo Ribeiro

2013 was a very challenging year in many regions in Spain, and Ribeiro, a challenging place to start with, was no exception. The winter was warm and wet with frost in March, followed by a wet spring and a torrid summer and rain during the harvest. The 2013 Emilio Rojo has an expressive nose with notes of ash, moss and yeast, but the palate shows weaker than other vintages, reflecting the bumpy year.
