Taking on a more floral perfume, the 2020 Pinot Noir Peters Vineyard pours a touch deeper shade, with notes of crushed roses, root beer spice, and black cherry. Flush with mouth-filling fruit of raspberry preserve, it has a generous rounded feel, with fine tannins and a silky texture. Notes of sweet berry fruit are long on the palate, with a toasted note of smokiness on the finish that makes itself known only after the wine is gone, which is a bummer because this wine is otherwise very appealing.
