Tasting notes
Dark and powerful, the 2016 Syrah is packed with black cherry fruit, licorice, menthol, smoke, game and black pepper flavors. Time in the glass brings out attractive floral notes and a touch of brightness that add balance.

Blended of 97% Syrah and 3% Viognier, the 2016 Syrah has a deep garnet-purple color and is just a little rubbery on the nose to begin, giving way to a compelling perfume of violets, preserved plums, black forest cake and cracked black pepper with wafts of garrigue and bacon. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is packed with fragrant black fruit layers, framed by soft, rounded tannins and lovely freshness, finishing long and peppery / savory. 1103 cases were made.
