Tasting notes
O'Shaughnessy's 2021 Chardonnay Oakville features grilled white peach, lime zest, pear and melon notes. From an AVA better known for its red wines, this is medium-bodied and not overly rich or creamy, just a nicely complex, easy-drinking effort that should complement a wide range of dishes. There's something to be said for wines that don't dominate the palate but instead float along in casual elegance.

The 2021 Chardonnay Oakville is a pretty rich wine for the year. Lemon confit, baked apple tart, white flowers and a kick of butter are dialed. Aging on the lees and partial malolactic fermentation yield a broad, creamy Chardonnay endowed with quite a bit of energy. Light tropical accents round things out in style.
