Score 92/100 · Drink 2024-2039, Jeb Dunnuck, May 2022

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Marston Vineyard comes from the Spring Mountain District and is part of the Single Vineyard Series. Deep ruby/purple, it reveals solid aromatics of red and blue fruits as well as leafy herbs, graphite, new leather, and flowers. As with many Spring Mountain Cabernets, it's exotic and perfumed aromatically. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has plenty of tannins, a silky, nicely balanced mouthfeel, and a good finish. It will benefit from just a few years of bottle age and drink well for 10-15 years.

Score 92/100 · Drink 2023-2035, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, May 2022

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Marston Vineyard will be the last vintage of this wine, as there was no crop in 2020 (due to fires) and Beringer didn't renew the lease for 2021. It does offer something a bit different from the other single-vineyard wines, more cherry-focused fruit, with hints of cedar, chocolate and cinnamon. Less intense than Beringer's other single-vineyard Cabernets, it's medium to full-bodied, silky and elegant, with a long finish.
