Tasting notes
Aged 19 months in 100% French oak barrels (65% new), the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon is a rock-solid success in this challenging vintage. Plums, subtle cassis, flowery incense, and spicy, cedary nuances all define the aromatics, and it's medium to full-bodied, round, lush, and textured, with terrific overall balance. I like it today, yet it will keep for 8-10 years. Drink 2025-2035.

Marked by notes of blackberries, cassis and dark chocolate, Lewis's 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Grande Cuvée is full-bodied and expansive on the palate, framed by velvety, rather open-knit tannins, then clamps down on the finish with a blast of cleansing acids. The Reserve shows more harmony at the moment, but it's possible this Grande Cuvée may outlast the former and even improve slightly over the next decade.
